STOCK + CUSTOM
Builds custom lighting in-house using original designs for numerous hospitality venues in Calgary. Eventually they will offer a versatile list of stock modern lighting options and custom furniture products as well. Inspired by the two products the circle represents the lighting side of the company while the triangle represents the wooden materials used in their furniture products. All “stock” letters have straight edges while all “custom” letters have angled edges to speak to their two offerings.
Open Market Restaurant
A branding exercise done for a local design agency, this fictitious restaurant specializes in organic food with a wholesome, comforting feel. By combining a hand drawn typeface with a simple sans serif, the logo looks rustic, elegant and inviting. Inspired by the thoughts of a large open restaurant with hanging planters full of veggies and herbs, the box around the logo represents the planters while the extended K and P are the growing greenery.
True Link Media
Installs mounted digital displays for their clients business to offer external advertisement sales. The logo was inspired by the words in their name "Link Media" - combining two screen icons that form a chain link paired with an electronic style typeface.
Passionate about providing homeowners with a creative new look to their space, Fitz Finishings loves being able to see people get excited about their homes again. A logo refresh was needed to help elevate the brand and reflect the owners interest in painting and music.
pH Safety Resources
Develops and maintains safety programs for their clients in Oil and Gas, Construction, and Manufacturing. The triangle design means "balance" which is at the the heart of what pH does. The logo is bold and strong to communicate with a primarily male audience while being easy to read, as safety collateral should be.
ESL Career Excel
Provides those with English as their second language who are at the start of their careers with access to resume building, interview skill testing and online workshops. The logo needed to speak to female and male professionals who are located all over the world.
Located at the intersection of Stoney Trail and 17 Ave SE, East Hills is a major urban shopping complex. The logo references all the greenery that exists in the space while having a less obvious icon to represent "hills". The typeface speaks to the modern design of the complex while staying approachable for new families.
